Manufacturing Head

Job Description : MANUFACTURING HEAD MALAYSIA A fast-growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Head of Manufacturing. In this job, you will manage the production operations and lead initiatives on process improvement. In this Head of Manufacturing position, you will oversee all daily operations of the plant to ensure that production target are met and optimised. · Provide direction for production, process improvement and project support for manufacturing operations · Lead troubleshooting and process optimisation to increase output, efficiency, effectiveness, quality while reducing cost and minimising variability · Lead new product pilot and production scale up as well as new process design · Oversee all production line productivity to meet daily order fulfilment and productivity targets · Oversee, develop and drive accountability within the production team · Ensure the awareness and compliance of HACCP activities as well as food safety standards · Ensure manpower efficiency, stabilisation, training and employee moral · Provide leadership in team building, development and problem-solving abilities of the production team 15 - 20 years of production operation management experience in the manufacturing industry · Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles · Production process improvement background · Sound technical knowledge of food manufacturing processes and relevant equipment · Able to coach, influence change, analytical and facilitate sharing of ideas · Strategic leadership experience to build a high-performance team
