Job Description : Accountant- Shipping and Clearing / General @ Nigeria Job Description: The Incumbent should be well versed in computation and preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss a/c. Other areas to cover would include General Ledger Accounting, Journal Entries, calculation of legal charges, taxes and rates, maintain Asset Register, Bank Reconciliation Statements, Stock verification, Invoice preparation, Cash & Fund flow Statements and handle Petty Cash, Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting procedures, Managing day to day transactions, To provide info to Unit heads for commercial decision making, To Keep accounting system up to date, To do various analysis required by the management. The Incumbent must possess excellent knowledge of Accounts and should be proficient in handling accounts on ERP package. Past experience in a similar position as an Accounts Executive with Shipping and Clearing / General experience of a Medium or Large Trading, Retail & Franchise Store Educational/Professional Qualification - B.Com/M.Com/MBA(Finance)
