Procurement Head

Job Description : Head Procurement / Purchase (Sr. GM / AVP Cadre) with leading Group (manufacturing - auto ancillaries / parts) for one of their plant at Ghaziabad.. Incumbent should be B.E. / B.Tech. with 15+ Yrs of exp. in leading purchase for manufacturing as well as at corporate level with direct purchase including commodities, electrical drive unit components & imports.. Supply Chain Strategy: - Plan and execute overall Supply Chain strategy to support the goals of the businesses; Drive cost savings, competitiveness vs. Imports (China/Taiwan), Derisking Imports & Up gradation of local vendors ; Group Buying Value ~$500Million. - Cost Savings: Drive strategic cost saving initiatives across the businesses to support profitability improvement. - Localization: Strategically plan the mid & long term localization plan; Drive the implementation prioritizing business needs. Group Buying : - Centrally manage the strategic sourcing at group level to leverage the benefits of consolidation and scale. - Commodity Purchase: Manage the strategic sourcing of commodities Ex:Steel - General Purchase: Manage the strategic sourcing of general purchase items to leverage the economies of scale. - Consolidation & Group Synergies: Identify and execute other consolidation and group synergies.
