General Manager

Job Description : GM SINGAPORE FOR CONSUMER AND BEAUTY As the leader for this business unit, the role will oversee and expands the company's presence and brands in the emerging markets and whitespaces that will generate revenue and sustainable growth. This includes overseeing channels development, partnership, identifying and exploring new market opportunities, directing the Group's sales and managing marketing efforts to lead a consistent trajectory of growth. You will develop, propose and implement commercial strategies according to the company goals aimed at accelerating growth. You have a strong awareness of the competitive landscape, and will monitor the trends to be able to identify the opportunities for viable revenue models * Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or similar disciplines; postgraduate degrees in relevant disciplines are preferred * Proven track record in managing teams in sales, operations, business development and logistic. * Experience gained in personal care, beauty or luxury retail sector would be critical for the success of this role * Strategic, "hands-on" and entrepreneurial mindset * Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, which require a practical numbers oriented mind and a good instinct for business * Experience in building teams and setting up new businesses would be advantageous
