Contract Commercial Manager

Job Description : CONTRACT/COMMERCIAL MANAGER OMAN Job Description: 1. LLM and MCIArb qualified with over 15 years' professional experience of implementing Contract, Commercial Management and Planning systems, procedures and practices related to EPC Projects. 2. Has a thorough understanding of ensuring contractual risks are identified, negotiated, mitigated and proactively managed. 3. Good mix of pre and post award experience in several construction sectors but predominately with major contractor's within the Middle East markets(preferable) within the industrial, Oil & Gas, petrochemicals & Power Projects.. 4. Proven track record together with solid experience in commercial management, negotiations and advising on contractual administration related issues to promote conflict avoidance with Clients, Subcontractors and Vendors. 5. Ability to work in both team environment or independently while promoting commercial excellence. 6. Customer focused promoting business development and fostering long term partnering relationships by ensuring that Client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective contractual management service. 7. Specialties include: * Contract Management and Legal Knowledge * Preparation of MoU / Joint venture agreements * Quantity Surveying * Risk Management * Claim Preparation and Management * Planning and Scheduling
