Job Description : Group General Manager – Retail (Hypermarket) Job Location – Dubai Salary – AED 30K – 40K + other company benefits Sector – Retail (Hypermarket) Job Responsibilities: • Manage and Responsible for the overall Retail business for the entire UAE. • Lead the retail network, pilot and monitor retail performance • Business strategy: Formulate the Business strategy and work on its road map and implement the same at ground level. • Driving operational improvements, maximizing the value of the asset base and ensuring a tight control on operational costs. • Business Development: Scaling up and develop business by creating alliances and signing up new Retail Outlets to grow along with existing network in UAE • Working closely with the Financial Director, Leasing Director, Learning & Development Director, Facilities Manager, Health & Safety Manager, Stock & Asset Protection Manager, IT Manager, and HR department. • P&L & Financial Management • Budgeting & Sales Forecasting • Inventory Management • Buying & Merchandising • Supply Chain Management • Customer Service Management • Key Partnership Development • People Development & Management • High Stake Negotiations Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in Business Administration or industry related field. • 12 – 15 years of progressively responsible business experience in the retail industry including 3 years as Group General Manager, Country Manager or Retail Director • Proven people leadership skills
