Production Manager

Job Description : PRODUCTION MANAGER UGANDA Looking out for candidates from Printing & Packaging industry Minimum 8 years experience. 1. To make Machine programs for Flexo as per delivery schedule 2. To ensure PVC films for flexo is produced internally and to the required quantity. 3. Plan for the sourcing of PVC, PET and BOPP materials 4. To make issue slips of raw material for daily production programs. 5. To distribute program to all the machines in the department. 6. To Co -ordinate with plate and Ink supplier for on time delivery of materials. 7. To Co-ordinate with store and make sure that all the material requested are Issued 8. To approve make ready jobs on the machines. 9. To ensure that all the machines are producing the right quality by frequently checking output 10. To make sure that client approvals are provided onmachines, collected back after the job is printed and to store client's samples properly. 11. Follow delivery schedules of industrial job with marketing. 12. Check the alarm stock level of raw material and consumables and to inform senior Production manager of irregular consumption. 13. To make all preparations for night shift ,issue raw materials , machine program etc. before leaving the factory premises 14. To actively participate in trouble shooting of machine fault and ensuring the effectiveness of action plan. 15. To make sure that preventive maintenance of all machine is carried out 16. To make sure that all machines are in good working conditions. 17. To discuss with senior production and procurement manager for quarterly planning. 18. To inform Senior Production manager of all in house rejection 19. To inform Senior Production manager and maintenance manager about any break down. 20. To keep the factory clean and tidy.
