Manufacturing Head

Job Description : MANUFACTURING HEAD INDIA leading plastic packaging company. They are currently looking for a Cluster Head to manage operations of 13 plants in 3 clusters - North, South & West. The position will be based either at Mumbai/Bangalore/Chandigarh. · All Plant operations and expansion projects - working closely with the Plant heads in order to optimise efficiencies and continuously improve on product delivery. · Setting and achieving key goals for all the manufacturing plants, especially - preparation, approval and control of annual plant budgets; production planning and control; production, maintenance, quality assurance activities; control and monitoring of inventory; warehousing & finished goods inventory control, shipping and logistics. · Adhering to labour & pollution control laws, fire and explosives, safety, electrical installations, etc. · Integrating latest manufacturing technology and best practices from within the company and from other sources leading to optimising manufacturing cost. · Getting feedback from customers on quality of products and initiate necessary measures for further improvement at manufacturing locations. · Interacting with all external parties to the plant such as local government agencies, legal agencies, local media, and interest groups · Recruiting, on boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention of team members The ideal candidate should have a full-time Engineering degree in Mechanical/Plastics/Production/ Auto with 20-25 years of experience in manufacturing practices. You should have experience in handling multiple sites, having spent at least 5 years in a leadership role. You should be currently working in a plastics/auto/engineering/packaging company handling a turnover of at least 300 crore. You should have experience of working in professional & family-owned companies. You should have an excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment in a fast-paced environment.
