Job Description : GM COMMERICAL UGANDA/TANZANIA FOR PHARMA Salary :- 3000 USD (INR 2.13 Lacs/Month) + Car + Bachelor Accommodation + 300 USD Local allowance + Other Benifits Reporting to :- Regional Country Head Position Purpose: The General Manager is responsible for leading the commercial department in the execution of the Company's long term business strategy with a view of creating shareholder value. Job Roles and Responsibilities: Developing Sales and Marketing Strategy. Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities. Develop and adjust sales and marketing strategy to qualify for market trend, competitors and customers. The GM oversees the management of business expenditure and revenue generation. Maintain contacts with major accounts, principals and oversees customer service activities. Develop annual business plans and monitor through monthly and quarterly reviews. Generate profitable revenue growth through establishing new customers, penetrating new customer accounts and retaining those customers. Work on short term and long term strategy in line with the overall company plans. Preparing marketing strategy for wholly promoted pharmaceutical range & implementing the same with the help of sales team. Develop sales management plan for both short term and long termEnsure delivery of sales/service vision by automating, centralizing and streamlining policy and procedure. Develop management and push sale team forward to the company goal. Build up sale knowledge management to up to date and always satisfy customer needs. Operations management Meet financial targets P&L for the company and ensure company value growth. Plan task schedule and assign responsibilities to subordinates based on their area of expertise. Supports and manage the sales force, including training and motivation towards agreed objectives. Oversee short and long term plans initiatives Develop company policies and procedures for proper handling of medicines. Develop a strategic framework of pharmaceutical activities that willbe engaged in and hold regular meetings with staff. Ensure that expenditures are in line with financial guidelines and budget. Brand representation Building company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations and employees, enforcing ethical business practices. Build up company's reputation through marketing channel, CRS etc. Planning and Budgeting Plan, control and direct activities of the sales force to secure maximum sales volume and profit target and develop maximum potential sales from all markets for the company's products. Develop strategies and objectives with regard to revenue, profitability, new products, new business and market opportunities. Prepare annual sales budget and participate in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expenses estimates. Reports Produce regular reports; recommend product and product line revisions as well as pricing policy, other strategies and partnership program with distributor in the region. Key Performance Indicators: · Increase Profit · Efficient Management of Working Capital. · Develop and Utilize competitor market analysis. · Growth of regional presence and new markets. · Growth of sales. · Growth of new customer index. · Increased levels of satisfied customers. Minimum Qualifications / Requirements: ● Bachelors or Master's Degree in Business Administration, BSC Pharmaceuticals, BA Management or projects. ● Post graduate (is essential for obtaining WP is additional advantage) ● 10-15 years of corporate managerial experience from pharma industry. ● Knowledge of the marketing strategies is added advantage. ● Knowledge of Tanzania healthcare industry, including key stakeholders and delivery of care preferred. ● Full skills to conduct CMEs, Planning, budgeting and monitoring of the sales and marketing and build the team's skill set ● Familiar with the use MS Office.
