Job Description : PROCUREMENT MANAGER NIGERIA Sunlight Resources Ltd. Manufacturing of Cheese balls & other type of fried chips & snacks. A business venture between father and son, Fun Snax began way back in 2005 when the dynamic duo first launched their light and fluffy cheeseballs, in their hometown of Lagos, Nigeria. It was thanks to the success of these cheesy snacks that the pair then went onto design and craft new products for the range. Spending hours obsessing over new and exciting flavours, Fun Snax soon saw the launch of the brand’s ever-popular potato chips and their tangy shrimp crackers. Products : Extruded snacks ( cheese balls) , Cereals , cornflakes , popcorn, potato chips ,and namkeem Roles & Responsibilities: A procurement manager is responsible for ensuring that their business purchases the goods and services that will best help them achieve their goals. Procurement manager responsibilities Supplier evaluation and setting the product standards/quality for procuring Procuring items as per the set schedule. Whilst coordinating with Plant and Raw material stores. Will have to negotiate contracts and create LPOs for orders with delivery times, pricing and specification of procured item. Will be asked to visit vendors and trade shows. Data Analysis: To create a procurement plan as the inventory needed for a quarter . Able to analysis products rate from each vendor to meet procurement price objectives. Others Good knowledge of ERP system – Tally, Sage or SAP. Good knowledge of Microsoft word, excel and outlook. Experience: Minimum 8 years experience in procurement , fmcg industry , food industry and warehouse. Contract : 2 years contract period
