Head Maechanic

Job Description : Head Mechanic (Sewing Machines) for Kenya factory. 1. Maintains systems and equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts & supervising staff. 2. Expertise in all maintenance related activities Installation & Maintenance (preventive & corrective) for all types of machines used in the Apparel / Garment Manufacturing setup is a must. 3. Sound knowledge in repair and maintenance of industrial sewing machines. 4. Should be able to repair single needle, double needle (chain and lock stitch), Flatlock, Overlock and feed of machines. 5. Knowledge of Button stitch, button holing, bar tacking, and Multi needle chain stitch machines will be added advantage. 6. Knowledge of preventive maintenance, Machine Safety 7. Should be good in English Communication Skills. 8. Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or Higher Diploma 9. Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in similar role in reputed apparel manufacturing units. The salary bracket would be between USD 1400 to USD 1600 plus Bachelor Accommodation & other benefits.
