Plant Manager

Job Description : PLANT MANAGER - CEMENT (TANGA, TANZANIA) Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant. . Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance. 6 Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance. Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times. Screen, interview and manage the onboarding process of new hires. Provide training and educational materials to staff as necessary. Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order. Repair or replace plant equipment as needed. Deliver on operational and cost results. Proactively represent the company with the community, customers and various government agencies. Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, industrial or mechanical). 6 Master's degree is an added advantage. 15+ years combined management level and cement industry experience. Knowledge of ISO standards and certifications process.
