General Manager 

Job Description : GM SINGAPORE Proven senior marketing experience in Global ‘Blue Chip’ FMCG business • Deep understanding of SEA region and markets • Extensive brand, marketing and end-to-end innovation management in B2C environments Reporting to the Director, Sales & Marketing Services – APAC, the GM Anmum & Anlene serves as the custodian of the Anmum & Anlene brands globally within consumer, determining identity, protecting integrity and building brand equity through global marketing and innovation activity. You will be responsible for providing strategic thought leadership (on Anmum & Anlene) to Marketing leads in our Operating Companies to ensure ongoing development and strengthening of the brand in-market in order to grow market share and drive sales. You will have a strong interface with the GM SEA Marketing as a key conduit to region OpCo GM’s and Marketing Directors through seamless ways of working and connectedness. · In partnership with the Opco GM’s and Marketing Leads (via the GM SEA Marketing for SEA cluster), develop and imbed a clear brand and marketing strategy for Anmum & Anlene as relevant, providing clarity on where we invest and where we can win. · Drive clear priorities and ensure that business frameworks, systems and process are in place to deliver on the brand and marketing strategy. · Provide global review, and challenge to the Opcos on the local execution and activation of the strategy. · Provide proactive oversight of any emerging issues or opportunities both at strategic and execution level that require global support and action. · Build strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business and with key industry bodies to ensure that Fonterra can execute its brand strategy. · Actively partner with the Opco Marketing Directors to ensure that the best marketing outcomes are achieved for Fonterra across all regions where Anmum & Anlene is sold in Consumer. · Develop the brand architecture and marketing framework for Anmum & Anlene · Oversee the management of the brand and ensure this is done in line with agreed principals and plans. · Oversee market reviews with brand managers and Opco Marketing Directors. · Lead brand communication development and deployment across markets leveraging the IFT (intregrated agency team) to ensure high quality creatives, smart media mix, and robust deployment in market. · Set and determine the key performance metrics for Anmum & Anlene. · Oversee and implement a regular brand and category performance management process based on a robust set of key financial metrics. · Oversee the analysis and review of the KPIs and work with Opcos to support the delivery of Fonterra’s growth aspirations. · Proactively provide regular updates to SEA LT and Opco MD’s management on progress versus plan. Periodically provide updates to region LT’s (i.e. APAC, GC, AMENA) as required/requested. · Provide coaching and mentoring to direct reports and the broader team to enable, empower and enhance cutting edge performance and development. Lead direct reports in the use of tools/methodologies for customer planning and management activities. · Develop NZ provenance and sustainability as a key source of advantage for the brands. · Define the brand scientific and innovation program, and leverage research to become a key source of competitive advantage for the brand. · Deliver a compelling digital strategy for each brand and support (with creative assets etc) the regional digital team in implementing the same. · Lead large cross global savings initiatives on the brand. Degree or equivalent in business, marketing or related discipline. · Minimum 15 years of marketing experience in Global Food or FMCG industry across both mature and emerging market economies. Dairy industry experience will be a strong advantage. · Deep understanding of SEA region and markets. · Experience working in large marketing led multinational companies and matrix environments. · Extensive brand, marketing and end-to-end innovation management in B2C environments. · Ability to lead marketing campaigns across creative, media and tracking while closely partnering insights, innovation and regional stakeholders. · Strong customer focus with skills to translate, communicate and champion the global customer requirements within Fonterra. · People Management Skills with the ability to build a strong, cohesive team environment and fosters Good Together. · Solid strategic agility with the experience in developing and implementing high level global strategic marketing and customer plans to a world class standard. · A thorough understanding of Fonterra’s strategy as well as the customer and marketing environments. · Proven ability to influence, manage and facilitate a group of stakeholders at multiple levels within the organisation (internal and external) to ensure cohesiveness towards a common goal. · Technical experience in digital marketing and social media platforms. · Demonstrated digital innovation and activation experience with the understanding of function and usability of key digital technologies with the ability to translate these to the customer / consumer.
