Job Description : RETAIL OPERATIONS HEAD UAE A highly successful premium retailer is looking for Head of Retail Operations for its UAE based operations with previous experience in a high volume/high turnover retail environment. To be successful in the role you will be results driven, a strong communicator and will ensure ongoing growth, profitability and high standards of customer experience. Responsibilities · Your key responsibilities will be to maximize retail sales, focusing on operational standards, as well as building and developing a strong team through motivational leadership · Translating the strategic business plans into well-defined operational plans to meet business objectives · Setting the budgets for the following year and executing the annual, medium-term & long-term plans for the business with the objective of building well trained teams and best in class customer experience · Have a customer centric approach and establish a voice of customer feedback loop to our Marketing, Technology, Procurement and Business Teams · Defining & implementing suitable performance management metrics & reporting structures to monitor performance against objectives · Effectively manage the performance and development of showroom managers to drive and maximize the sales performance throughout the region · Setting & ensuring standards of excellence and driving ‘customer delight’. · Overseeing the roll out of new showrooms across the region as well as optimizing their performance · Ensuring that the visual presentation of all products across the showrooms exhibits the brand values · Collaborating with eCommerce and marketing teams to integrate Retail strategies and to enhance Customer experiences within the Omni channel journeys Requirements · Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s degree · The successful candidate will bring 10-15 years of progressive brand, customer, retail trade, and visual merchandising experience in a premium home furnishings category and possess an omni channel mindset · Strong customer affinity with proven track record of building and implementing high standards of Customer experiences · Strong leadership and communicational skills are essential · Ability to work well in a fast paced environment with effective planning & organizing skills. · Passion for product and industry · Strong organizational, prioritizing, analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met · Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
