Job Description : FMCG SALES HEAD MALAYSIA An exciting Head of Sales (FMCG) job has just become available at one of the most respected international FMCG firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a role for a commercial leader who is a leader in their field. About the Head of Sales (FMCG) Role: Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent will work with the senior management team in developing and executing sales strategies with channels and partners, both locally and regionally in order to achieve the company’s vision. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve the company’s short and long-term sales goals Contribute to business planning at the top executive level to develop sales strategies and plans that are consistent with the organisation’s overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives Oversee the overall sales budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimise resources and priorities spending Develop pricing and discount strategies to maximise sales revenue Pursue major prospects and leads and negotiate terms of sales with major clients that will maximise the company’s business interests The successful Head of Sales (FMCG) will have strong financial acumen and sales management experience. Key Requirements: Degree holder, with at least 15 - 20 years of sales management experience in the field of fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) Seasoned sales professional with experience in key account management, distributor management and trade marketing Excellent leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate and drive high performance culture Aggressive and results-oriented; with strong business acumen, profit and loss management
