Regional Sales Manager 

Job Description : RSM MALAYSAI FOR EDIBLE OIL An exciting Regional Sales Manager (Edible Oil) job has become available at a global integrated edible oil manufacturing firm. About the Regional Sales Manager (Edible Oil) Role: In this business critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the edible sales team to ensure that all activities and plans are executed and implemented. You will also ensure that all sales targets are being achieved in the assigned sales territory. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of business development and sales managers in the markets/regions assigned Collaborate with our account managers, CE Share Sales team, distributor and agents to understand business requirements and market needs Work closely with GEOS category leads and strategy and innovation team on category execution, drives profitable growth in the region assigned (META, development markets, North Asia, LATAM) Recognise and pursue new market segments and opportunities for business development, calculating return and investment Monitor market development activities to align with company business goals Prioritise market segment development activities and set revenue targets Measure performance to meet objectives, undertaking remedial action where appropriate Collaborate with other business developers to optimise market segment opportunities Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff Other duties as assigned To succeed in this Regional Sales Manager (Edible Oil) role, you must have key experience within the edible industry as well as the connection with the relevant segments. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering 8 - 10 years of commercial and industry experience within the relevant industries preferably from the oils and fats and/or refinery industry Strong industry knowledge with good understanding of customer application within the confectionery category Good technical knowledge of specialty fats to effectively identify and translate client needs back to the business ยท Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationship and close across a matrix organisation
