Job Description : PLANT MANAGER IVC FOR OLAM Area : Cashew Processing / MATS Department : Edible Nuts Report to : Processing Head Location : Dimbokro, Cte d'Ivoire Major Responsibilities : - Plan, supervise and coordinate overall operations of the Bouake plant - Focus on safety and quality; Implementation of TPM deliverable - Work with all functions to align on all imperatives - Establish / understand SOPs, implement and review the same - Understand customer specifications and develop production capabilities to deliver the same - Preparation of annual budgets. Ensure all the relevant information is updated for the MIS purposes on agreed upon time frequency - Team engagement with a focus on training and development - Coordination of various activities involving health, safety, environment, fire prevention, emergency handling, EHS monitoring of legal compliance - Planning and monitoring the project activities, and reporting agreed lines on project progress - To be the front face for the village, town and state government authorities and plan out sustainable initiatives Job Relations (Direct Touch Points) : - Business Head - Processing Head - Human Resources (and IR) Department - Quality assurance Department - Finance - MATS - Legal - Consultants from Technology, HR, maintenance and quality areas - Relevant Government and Statutory Authorities Desired Profile : Language : English and French (Preferable) Education : Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engineer + Part time / full time MBA Experience : Minimum 15 years' experience in food manufacturing domain. Three to five years as head of a plant in a reputed Food industry. - Exposure to large scale project management. - Having handled sizeable teams and business volumes. - Skills Hands on approach, Planning and administration skills, Result orientation, Team Engagement and Development - Flexible to travel and stay in interiors for specific durations (week long)
