Senior Procurement Manager

Job Description : SENIOR PROCUREMENT MANAGER PHILIPINNES This functional manager will manage Mechanical commodities, raw material (RM) and subcontracting procurement activities of Cavite Cluster managing annual spend of USD 200 million. Key Responsibilities: · Facilitate operational buying, supplier identification and development in consistency with global/regional category strategy · Guide selection with a purchasing approach (total cost of ownership, innovation, multisourcing, promote standardisation, supply chain flexibility and quality · Analyse spend and define the annual saving forecast, identifying risks and opportunities · Drive implementation of the saving action plan to achieve the assigned annual cost saving target including change of suppliers and value engineering · Manage supplier relationship at regional level, monitor KPIs and setting necessary corrective actions · Contract management, drive supplier quality improvement initiatives, ensure data and system compliance · Monitor supplier marker through constant benchmarking in order to continuously improve costs, quality, delivery and technology · Manage the fundamentals of sourcing and supplier engagement activities using program management skills including RFx, spend pattern analysis, contract analysis, negotiations, and supplier consolidation, payment term improvement, sustainability and risk management To succeed in this Senior Procurement Manager role, you should have experience in dealing with both external (suppliers) and internal (material planning, plant quality, operations, regional category, procurement effectiveness) stakeholders. · Good knowledge of manufacturing processes of mechanical/electromechanical commodities viz, stamping, fabrication, plastic moulding, machining, packaging, subcontracting, etc. · Strong negotiation and communication skill. Well versed with mechanical parts costing, raw material price trends, strategic negotiation and supplier relationship management · Cost and value analysis · Supplier management and procurement administration · People management · Minimum of 10 years' proven procurement experience in industrial/manufacturing organisation subcontracting procurement management in electrical/electronic domain experience is an added advantage · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Electrical Engineering · Readiness to work in Cavite
