Commercial Finance Director

Job Description : COMMERCIAL FINANCE DIRECTOR UAE A regional conglomerate in the fmcg industry is seeking a seasoned professional to join their team. career should have encompassed working with supply chain and category finance operations in your previous roles. Have a strong financial planning and analysis background you would lead to ensuring the managements’ strategic direction is on point. Working closely with the financial controllers in different business units, you would ensure that planning, competitive analysis, supporting the business plan, volume forecasting, MIS at each BU level are in line. You would prepare the period close, forecast, quarterly business plans etc. You would play a pivotal role in trade discounts, credits, and customer alignment to support business plans. Your internal stakeholders would be leadership from the commercial and the value chain teams. Business partner with the BU teams to ensure delivery of the business financial and non-financial targets. Support the generation of monthly/quarterly reporting to BU Team identifying deviation from budget whilst managing the ongoing risks and opportunities to achieve the annual target. Provide direction to influence decision making, to maximize sales delivery while upholding the financial integrity and profitability of the Brands. Create, develop and improve financial models and tools to support the formation of business cases and further aid decision making ensuring an effective return on investment. Experience in consumer goods / retail industry would be highly preferred.
