Job Description : INTERNATIONAL MARKETING HEAD, CHEMICALS FOR ASIA-PACIFIC ob Mission: Full P&L Responsibility for Chemicals & Polymers Distribution . Principal Responsibility 1. Lead a team of professionals for scaling business to new highs with P & L Responsibility , budgeting & market mapping Business Development in to new markets, addition of new products, and new strategic suppliers globally offering a value-added service to clients. Enhance business with current suppliers. 2. Strategic Chemicals & Polymers. a) Actively liaise with the construction companies, architects, builders for identifying new business opportunities. b) Expand the project business by maintaining a network. c) CRM- Development & Deployment. d) CFR Business Cost & Freight Business. e) Aggressive Business Develo pment: - Achieve Agreed Upon Targets. Create Product/Customer Matrix. 3. Tactical - Chemicals : - a. Achieve Chemicals Distribution Budget - Tonnage, Revenue & PAT. b. Achieve Indent Sales Budget. 4. Manage Costs : - a. Audit Clearing, Bond, Transport & Warehousing Costs. b. Direct Responsibility to clear Consumer Durable Consignments. c. Establish Credit Limits & Monitor the Same. d. Debtors & Stock Reconciliations. 5. Manage Credit Risks :-Operate within Credit Limits & Manage Default Risks. 6. Networking within the Business community & Keeping ears to the ground on Opportunities & business trends. Educational Qualifications : Graduate / Post Graduate in Science or Chemical Engineering, with experience in International Marketing & Trading of Chemicals, CFR Business. Segments: Coatings, Paints, Inks, Cosmetics, Personal Care, Home Care, Nutritional food additives, Polyurethanes, Soap & Detergents etc. Bulk & Specialty Chemical Sales is a Plus, Construction Chemicals Sales is a Plus. Products : Commodity Chemicals like Solvents, Ethanol, Caustic, TDI, etc. & formulated products like Petroleum Jelly with appreciable exposure to specialty chemicals. Experience around 15-20 years. Preference shall be given to candidates who have handled Latin America along with Global exposure geographies will be a PLUS Advantage. Offer: CTC Rs. 18+ Lakhs PA. Plus Company rewards Business Heads with KRA driven deliverables. But Salary shall not be constraint for the right and suitable Fit. Position shall be based at Mumbai, but requires frequent International travel. Knowledge & Experience: 1. Knowledge of Business Development, Negotiation & Risk Management 2. Ability to Analyze Sales Data 3. Appreciation of Business Development Tools & Processes 4. Professional Written & Verbal Skills 5. Ability to Motivate Team 6.
