Chief Financial Officer 

Job Description : CFO UAE leading service provider to appoint a Chief Financial Officer. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will join the Executive Board and will play a key role in growing the business across its international network in the Middle East, Africa and Levant Region. As CFO, you will be responsible for a wide range of disciplines and the successful candidate will be fundamental in delivering on the ambitious strategic growth plans. The role requires candidates to have strong business acumen, leadership and technical accounting skills with the ability to make fact-based decisions whilst maintaining the overall financial health for the organisation. This role requires frequent travel with a minimum of 1 week per month based in other office locations. · Work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to contribute to the strategic leadership and management of the organisation, playing a crucial role in the continued growth of the group. · Manage and develop all financial and operational reporting and controls. Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control of the company’s business · Provide strong commercially focused advice and input both in relation to the wider business strategy and overall direction for the company · Create the annual financial plan and have overall responsibility for budgets and forecasts, delivering accurate, transparent, and comprehensive financial reports for the organisation · Ensure the organisation is resourced with the appropriate skills, capabilities, systems and processes · Take a lead in the implementation and efficiency of financial processes and systems, ensure information is appropriate to provide accurate data for operational teams to drive operational excellence and informed decisions. Empower the existing finance team, identifying key people and hiring to enhance the team where necessary · Manage year end financial closing and audit completion, ensuring a robust and fully auditable set of financial statements are produced on time and to IFRS standards · Strong academic background, highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and good attention to detail · MBA and/or relevant finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with at least 15 years of experience post qualification experience of leading a finance function · Outstanding interpersonal skills with proven ability to build robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders · Strong people manager with experience of playing a significant role in a senior management team · Commercial mindset with the ability to understand the link business actions and events to financial performance outcomes · Clear communicator, strong experience of presenting to boards, committees etc · Strong team leadership skills, with ability to hire, nurture and develop teams, processes and practices
