Production Manager

Job Description : Production Manager, UAE Job Description: Minimum 10 years of recognised experience as a Production Manager / Production & Technical In charge in the tobacco industry. Responsible for entire operation of production, and End to End process. Preparation of production plan & execution of job orders according to the delivery time schedule Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment, to manage and close the loop on multiple concurring tasks. Good commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate your competence in analyzing, reporting, and efficiently responding to quantitative data. Responsible for the start-up of machines in compliance with the standard operating procedures. Responsible to operate the machines as per standard operating procedures, recording the output, recording the machine parameters Responsible for quality of output as per Product Standards and customer requirements Maintain production related wastage records and looking to minimize wastage to least possible level Managing and directing the supervisors & operators Responsible for machine general maintenance Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices Ensuring smooth flow of operations & liaison with departments like Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Maintenance & Sales Team Ability to reduce downtime of setting up of the machines Job Requirements: Good communication skills with positive attitude and leadership skills. Knowledge of MS office, Emails and technical report writing. Strong technical knowledge and thorough knowledge of compounding, sizing, quality issues, processing and so on. Deep knowledge of the various International Standards for Cigarette. Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts Good knowledge in troubleshooting extruder machines. Able to work under pressure. Excellent organizational and leaderships skills Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, QMS. Qualification & Experience Required: The candidate should be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Technical Qualification with 10 yrs. of experience in the field of manufacturing Tobacco, with machine type of GD, Hauni & DeCoufle. Preferred Nationality: Russian Speaker.
