Financial Controller

Job Description : FC MALAYSIA You will be responsible for the full spectrum of the finance operations of the group and subsidiaries Key Responsibilities : Perform and review the monthly closing account and report to MD Perform and process of the monthly consolidated financial statements of the group Ensure accuracy of data for Group financial statements and solve its related operational issues that impact the financial statements Highlight operation issue and any improvements can be to ensure accuracy of data for financial reporting Prepared yearly audit schedule and ensure the audited report is submitted to the bank on time and does not affect trade line Coordination and review all outlets performance and give highlight to MD Handle financial reporting to all banker annual review Review and follow-up on major manufacturing operations’ BOM/inventory issue under the manufacturing subsidiary Attend and prepare all analysis of IRB request previous year desk audit Support 18 company’s accounting teams in analysis and resolution of accounting, control or audit issues and finance/accounting analysis of significant new, unusual or complex transactions Manage relationships with external lawyer and coordinate each term loan finance by local bank To succeed in the Financial Controller job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and cooperatively with affiliates across the business. Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus; CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus At least 10 years' experience in a finance/accounting role with at least three years experience as a finance controller or similar role In-depth knowledge of business finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting Analytical mind with a strategic ability Excellent organisational and leadership skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Readiness to work on Saturdays
