8 yearsJob Description : GM ECOMMERCE SINGAPORE a specialist global foodtech platform that focuses on a couple of categories within the food / consumables space. Over the last five years of rapid growth, they have expanded to more than fifty major cities globally and have a footprint in Europe, ANZ, North America and now Asia. In the last 24 months, they are seeing unprecedented growth across GMV and revenue. In line with their ambitious growth plans, they are looking to hire a General Manager, Singapore. Reporting to the CXO team, the General Manager will be measured on the following criteria: · Strategic planning: lead the design and execution of GTM plans and own the P&L for your territory · Team management: lead a (current) team of ten headcounts and hire more people in Singapore and the region, as business expands into SEA · Customer experience: own the metrics on customer experience and ensure a top-notch customer journey · Reporting: present monthly, quarterly, and annual statements to the CXO team · P&L: own the top-line and bottom-line growth targets, while pitching for budgets including new headcounts · SOP: ensure best operational practices are learned from global operations and implemented in SEA · Talent development: when business is more established in SEA, have a clear leadership structure in place that includes regional managers who can operate autonomously · Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with a strong understanding of financial reports such as budgets and forecasts · Eight or more years in leading ecommerce businesses with minimum four years of team management experience · Track record in launching new businesses or leading them early stage to late stage within the ecommerce or quick commerce domain · Outstanding communication and interpersonal ability · Ability to advise the CXO team on local market needs, regulations, and opportunities
