General Manager

Job Description : GM UAE · Recruit, hire, manage and train service advisors, office managers, sales managers, and mechanical staff to meet profit levels and customer satisfaction · Oversee daily operations, address customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met · Assist with the creation of affordable advertising campaigns and programs to increase sale and brand visibility for the car garage · Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, managers, and mechanical staff to establish sales processes and recommend daily unit sales · Implement growth strategies that align with automotive group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining inventory that meets the needs of the local market · Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and completion before sharing them with upper management · Reviews and approves cost control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements for tasks · Learn and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle sales, and the automotive industry as a whole · Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. · Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution. Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in business administration, Automotive industry-related field required; MBA preferred. · Knowledge of the UAE automotive industry and trends · 10+ years of experience in a sales manager or general manager position for an automotive industry or auto group is necessary in UAE · Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success · Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry.
