Supply Chain Head

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD DUBAI · Direct the Group's overall supply chain operations including purchasing, demand · planning, product development, logistics and inventory control · Develop supply chain strategies that would prioritize initiatives in order to improve operational · capabilities and effectiveness · Provide guidance to supply chain teams on effective development techniques · Take a lead role in coordinating/leading complex procurements · Work on setting the departmental as well as the individual’s KPIs in order to manage performance and risk in alignment with a the company’s objectives · Set the consolidated ordering forecast for the whole group · Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, · and delivery targets are met · Liaise with logistics networks to utilize global shipping contracts to drive the best value service while ensuring business continuity · Implement logistics strategies, tracking goods from the origination point to the · warehouse · Manage inventory and establish controls in order to minimize and prevent loss risks · Participate in the design and implementation of the new ERP system · Review external trends and identify internal opportunities for continuous improvement · Manage, recruit, train and supervise a team responsible for day-to-day activities Main Requirements: · Masters degree in a related discipline · Minimum 15 years experience in Supply chain · English Language Proficiency, Arabic and French a plus
