Job Description : Procurement Manager (Steel) ASSENT Steel is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager that has a proven track record in procurement. We are looking for commercially savvy individuals with exceptional communication and negotiation skills who have had direct experience buying strategically for all aspects of a business. We are growing and you will have a AED 400m spend to manage. * Heavy Industrial Sector - Steel Engineering * High Profile National Organization * Lead negotiations with suppliers, manage relationships, and ensure communication and development with suppliers. * Develop, lead, and execute strategic sourcing strategies for metals and related products. * Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve targeted inventory and cost savings. * Contract negotiations. QUALIFICATIONS * Strong knowledge of the purchasing industry. * Experience dealing with both UAE, GCC & International suppliers. * Written and spoken English is essential * Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong supplier relationships. * Sound understanding of local and international logistics. * A focus on best outcomes for a business. * High level of attention to detail.
