Chief Operating Officer

Job Description : COO UAE Global marketing and communications business with 20+ offices across the world. GCC offices include Dubai and KSA and rapidly growing across the whole region. The chief operating officer will play an integral role in the operational growth of the business. This person will sit side by side with the regional CEO and and be able to lead their team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive and effective. The ideal person has extensive experience within the communications industry, perhaps having worked their way up through the ranks to your role as an executive. We believe this trajectory helps develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency with the practices, policies, and procedures of the communications industry. We have our eye out for a COO with strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business from a creative point of view. · Collaborate with the CEO and Managing Partner in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs · Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning · Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met · Drive rapid business growth by taking an active role with existing clients and where appropriate, supporting new business development · Work closely with the group function, with a dotted reporting line into the COO/CFO in London · Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention · Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary, for the UAE & KSA · Understands contracting and legally onboarding of new clients · Oversees quality control of the Consultancy and where necessary can manage challenging negotiations with existing clients · Working across both the Dubai and Riyadh offices · Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement · Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO and Managing Partner · Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting, and partner with the CEO and Managing Partner on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term · Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability · Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting · Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders · Maintain reporting lines with the group and key stakeholders in other offices, attending group level meetings as required as an alternative for the CEO. · Take responsibility for group reporting on finance, servicing, etc. · Should be perfect in English, Arabic is a plus · Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in business or related field · Business development experience · International business experience · Experience in a PR, consultancy or other agency environment is essential · 5+ years’ experience in executive leadership positions · Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity · Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues · A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics · Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues · 50,000 - 60,000AED per month, plus bonus, visa and medical insurance.
