Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER GHANA FOR FMCG Reporting to: VP and Head of Africa The purpose of the role is to drive the local market(s) organization towards maximizing results with main focus on sales force growth leading to Net Sales and operating profit growth. Also developing and implementing local marketing strategy to achieve strategic targets of Sales & Marketing Department and overall company. Responsibilities Include:  Ensure to deliver upon targeted sales and profit numbers  Ensure sustainable sales growth by delivering Sales Force Growth  Recruit new team members when needed to build an effective team  Overseeing new employee’s on-boarding  Developing People. Ensure that employees are adequately prepared and trained to perform their duties; assist and encourage subordinates in developing their skills and self confidence through coaching and regular and constructive feedback. Develop suitable replacements, including own successor  Monitor, review and evaluate performance by individuals by the IPM process that provides and overall context and framework to encourage employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance and capabilities development planning.  Recognize and reward good results and initiative. Create and environment that encourages excellence and sharing best practices  Delegate responsibilities and decisions to help empower people and teams  Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization’s and that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organization  Carrying out active PR activities by being the “Company face†to the outside world and maintaining a reputable image for the company in the eye of consumers, Sales consultants, employees and suppliers  Responsible for providing market relevant feedback and good cooperation towards the regional team Requirements include:  Experience from business-oriented leadership  Academic degree  Hand-on Sales and marketing experience  Fluency in English  At least 5-7 years of successful management experience, preferably on a management level in a dynamic sales environment.  The candidate is ‘hands-on†with exceptional talent for motivating other people
