Trading Head

Job Description : COMMODITY TRADING HEAD UAE a leading food manufacturer in the UAE in search of a Head of Commodity Trading. This person will be responsible for developing domestic and international markets for a full range of animal feeds and their raw materials including barley, corn, soybean etc. Additional duties include keeping track of competitor moves and global market trends and ensuring that trading operations are in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop new accounts, identify new customers and meet sales targets as defined by the management, expanding customer base through new market development · Facilitate deals and transactions documentation by coordinating with various departments involved · Prepare sales contracts and critically reviewing purchase contracts and complete management of commercial transactions · Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by timely redressed of grievances through site inspection, communicating issues to suppliers and resolving complaints to maintain cordial relationships with customers · Develop a portfolio of customers and suppliers for feed mills and raw materials (corn, wheat, barley, soybeans etc.) throughout MENA or between countries · Source agricultural commodities in most cost-efficient manner, responsible for the whole process from deal to delivery · Secure, develop and manage suppliers for trading commodities aligned with customer's expectations and company targets whilst ensuring that product quality is achieved & maintained · Manage trading operations from the vessel to the customer and ensuring products are delivered on time and in full · Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports with respect to product price movements and market trends and analysing the same · Proactive communication with production plants, suppliers, customers, brokers and other traders · Accurately establish sell/purchase pricing and negotiate contracts with counterparties · Oversee the daily execution of physical trades including communication with suppliers, customers and freight vendors. KEY INGREDIENTS · MBA or Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or any other related field · Minimum 15 Year experience in agricultural commodity trading or similar role · Proven record of business management and trading activities · Knowledge of global and local financial market with good command of analysis of all types of trade risks · Proven experience in Implementing effective international commercial plans with an MNC or a large local player · Good sense and knowledge of market movements to know when to sell and buy.
