Financial Controller

Job Description : FC NIGERIA Hands on experience in Finance & Accounts, Commercial acumen, Budgeting, MIS, variance analysis, Internal Controls and a process-oriented person to ensure commercial and financial discipline. Knowledge of IFRS standards preferred. 1. Ensure Timely closure of books of account as per the target set by HO. 2. Ensure finalization of trial balance, stock, A/R, A/P. fixed assets and its reconciliation with the GL within the targeted date of book closure. 3. Management of the working capital allocated to the business unit including management of the payables and receivables. 4. Ensuring the Statutory compliance with the Federal and State tax laws (VAT, PAYE, wht, Pension etc). 5. Raw material Input/ Output working analysis. 6. MIS including product costing, receivable/payable ageing summary, 7. Liaison with vendors 1. Maintenance & Supervision of day to day banking/accounting. 2. Liaison with Vendors, statutory auditors 3. Vendors, banks and Inter-unit Reconciliations. 4. Cash Flow Statement 5. Stores and Inventory Movement Analysis 6. Costing, Budgeting & MIS 7. Coordination with IT department. Insurance. Educational Qualifications, Relevant Experience & Relevant Industry Experience · CA · 15-20 year of experience preferably in a manufacturing industry at a senior position managing the Accounts department with a team of 15 to 20 people. · Should have worked on SAP/ Navision/any other ERP environment. · Preferred experience in Steel industry · Knowledge of IFRS will be preferred
