Financial Controller

Job Description : FC APAC 15+ years experience Controller- Global Markets Finance APAC Waters has an exciting and challenging opportunity available for a Controller to support Asia Pacific Field Operations and enhance accounting and reporting capabilities. This individual will provide VISIon, leadership and accourntddinty to inance teams across APAC In terms of harmonizing best practices, optimizing tne control environment anda improving processes. This critical role will ensure compliance and provide sound information to business leaders to enable strong decision making. Direct leadership responsibility will be for a small team who will focus on consolidation and reporting. This is a new role that will report to the Senior Director of Finance for Asia Pacific. Responsibilities Build, lead, motivate and developba small team to pertorm accounting, consolidation, reporting and process simplification; dotted line manager nsibility for the acca ager eams across ASla Faciic Partner with the Finance Directors across APAC tO design and harmonize best practices, increase efficiency and controls and improve consolidation of P&L, balance sheet and non-financial resuits to meet both Global Markets and Corporate SIn ihility for the a nung reporting needs Strategically design and implement harmonized key metrics at APAC level and cascading to indicate areas of risk, opportunity and focus fromm accounting and compliance perspectives Consult and advise local accountants throughout the APAC with complex accounting escalations. Accounting complexities ypically center around revenue ecognition, Torergn excid accounting and AHQ service fees allocation. Irain and develop Tinance team members.
