Job Description : CFO UAE AED 80 - 90 K to lead the company from a financial perspective. You will work alongside the CEO and other C-Suite team members and take ownership of all company fiscal and regulatory matters. A proactive, pragmatic, and decisive leader, supporting the company’s growth strategy towards a planned exit will require the ability for both strategic and detailed operations, while the dynamic nature of the business means not being afraid to roll up your sleeves and make things happen to meet expectations. A fully qualified accountant (preferably chartered) will have a track record of working within a PE-backed business. Charged with guarding the company’s money. From daily cash management to the strategic sourcing and allocation of capital, from setting budgets to monitoring performance, from identifying variances to maintaining the financial control environment to publishing statutory annual accounts of the company. Doing so by leading the finance team, which is likely to be one of the largest support service teams in the company and of the most visible. Key Responsibilities Ensuring the company has access to enough cash and banking facilities to service its operations. The CFO will set the liquidity ratio policy and always maintain it. The role will be leading the business to be financially attractive and an asset for its shareholders. Hiring, developing and leading a finance team Ensuring there are sufficient controls to protect the assets in the business. Working with the C-suite and management team on the business model, financial planning, and ensuring we are making the right investments. Working alongside the CEO for fundraising. Preparing the financial models and presentations to support any fundraising activities and acquisition opportunities. Lead, and evaluate expansions opportunities for the business from a financial and commercial perspective. Present at board meetings and other high-level meetings with investors and other stakeholders. Development of a sound financial capital plan in line with the business as an investment and meeting associated KPIs. Generate additional commercial value into the business by means of new partnerships with other businesses. Gravitas and credibility to work closely alongside the CEO, executive management team, and external and internal stakeholders. Work closely with the external investors to understand, and deliver against, their governance/reporting requirements. The CFO will operate as a conduit between external investors and the management team. Influence, drive and execute on any M&A activity. The CFO will work closely with the CEO to identify and evaluate opportunities and work with the leadership team for successful execution and subsequent integration. Act as a data-driven link between financial and strategic objectives. Skills Required: Must have a stellar track record of financial and operational leadership within high-growth businesses. Must have established productive, successful relationships with CEOs, ambitious, demanding boards, and Venture Capital & Private Equity investors A strong communicator who can set a clear vision & strategy and mobilize teams. Experience operating at Board-level in an organization and with founders is a plus. Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, and general finance and budgeting. Proven negotiation skills. Experience with budget management, public accounting, and cash flow. Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions. Ability to inspire confidence and create trust. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate. Must have been involved in an exit or major acquisition ·
