M & A Executive Director

Job Description : M & A EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DUBAI M&A Executive Director Salary: 70,000 AED PCM + Commission + Bonus Location: Dubai Middle East-based and focused, corporate finance house offering unsurpassed expertise to regional and international corporations. The firm was founded recently by a team of highly experienced Investment Banking professionals bringing together decades of international and regional experience from global leading institutions with on-the-ground experience in the Middle East. The firm is committed to the success and prospects of established and leading companies throughout the Middle East. They advise on regional and cross-border Mergers & Acquisitions (including Joint Ventures), Capital Raising (through Debt and Equity), Debt Restructuring, Corporate Finance Analysis (Valuation, Capital Structure and other) and other strategic and corporate finance related mandates. Key responsibilities: · Overseeing the development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring transactions · Strong technical command of valuation methods and all their intricacies · The ability to synthesize data and analysis across various transactions (whether developing equity stories for M&A transactions, credit stories, or valuations) · Ability to fully and independently develop fully functional financial and operating models · Form independent views and recommendations to be reviewed by the deal ED and/or MD · Take responsibility for the final preparation and review of materials used across transactions · Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business · Oversee due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions · Leading execution of both transactions and origination projects (while overseen by ED and/or MD) · Playing an important role in client relationships and coverage · Participation in the recruitment, development and training of junior resources Relevant skills, knowledge, and experience · Minimum of 12 years' experience in M&A in corporate finance or investment banking roles · Must come from a bulge bracket, international blue-chip Investment Bank · MBA or equivalent education, training and work-related experience · Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision · Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principals · Strong communication and networking skills · Ability to interpret financial and accounting data and develop fundamental business stories and cases across transactions · Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events · Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel · Very strong financial modelling skills
