Job Description : Programme Transportation Director – Saudi Arabia Up to SAR 100K per month (depending on experience) plus Expat Benefits We have an exciting requirement for a highly experienced Programme Transportation Director for a large Urban Development based in Saudi Arabia. The suitable candidate for this position will have 25 years’ experience, with a background in Transportation but will also be able to demonstrate experience within the mobility, modelling and traffic & transportation planning sector. Candidates applying for this role must have a Bsc in Civil engineering and must have specialised within the Transportation sector. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (civil engineering) • 20+ years’ experience in Transportation related projects with a minimum 10 years in a managerial position but still hands-on technically • Strong knowledge of public and private sector • Experience in other aspects of transport planning, such as accessibility studies, light rail schemes, transport modelling, interchange studies, parking studies, freight studies, airport studies, traffic engineering and development planning. • Familiarity with transport industry tools and datasets such as MOIRA, RailSys (or other performance modelling and planning software), LENNON, NRPS, NTS, GIS, LinSig, Transyt, Junctions9, VISSIM, Sidra, EMME modelling packages, TRICS). • Change management or business transformation skills an advantage • Demonstrate proficiency in accordance with project management and industry standards. • Commercially aware, with the ability to build excellent relationships. • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills (oral and written). • Experience working in the Middle East
