Job Description : General Manager – Electrical Power Distribution Utility · Executive Management role with Profit & Loss Responsibilities · Electricity Distribution Utility Experience – Essential Criteria!!! · Team Leadership Experience – Essential! · Location - Visayas well established and regarded Electrical Distribution Utility within the Visayas Region. With the retirement of one of their Senior Executives, they seek to employ an experienced Senior Manager from within the Philippine Electricity Distribution Utility Sector. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role of General Manager will oversee the overall Utilities’ operations, implementing company policies and plans for the achievement of objectives and goals. This is the Key Leadership position within the company providing the essential connection between all departments in the attainment of the Utilities overall objectives. The Primary Responsibilities can be summarised as follows: · Organizational Development – Maximizing Operational effectiveness and efficiency with a lean organization staffed with well-motivated and happy personnel working in a positive culture where responsibilities and authority have been devolved to the lowest practicable level. · Staff Development – Development of effective Communications Strategies and processes and implement effective Talent Development and Acquisition Strategies. · Business/Operations Planning – Developing and implementing short and long-term plans consistent with the Company’s objectives and strategies. · Teaming Culture Development – Create a positive and sharing Team Culture where individuals are encouraged to share their Ideas and Concerns and contribute to plans and actions. · Budget Achievement – Achieve both Cost and Revenue Budgets and maintain Profitability Targets. · Corporate Reporting – Continually review Company performance across all KPI’s and report on both a periodic and/or Ad-Hoc basis when required. · Regulatory and Contract Compliance – Effectively interface with all Regulatory and Community Entities to fulfill our reporting and External Stakeholder obligations and monitor the Company performance in meeting Contractual Obligations.
