Job Description : MD BURKINA FASO FOR CASHEW PROCESSING PLANT Job description The Managing Director: • Is overall responsible for the business performance, risk and financial management of the factory operations. • Leads the management team, including the operations director, value chain director, finance director, HR director, maintenance manager and continuous improvement manager. • Support his direct reports in developing a culture of continuous improvement, supported by structures and daily processes, further developing the team’s capabilities in problem solving, leadership, initiative to innovate. • Reports into the Anatrans Board of Directors, with a functional reporting line into the CEO of Nuts2 who also the chair of the board is. • Representing the company with local government institutions. • Reporting to local and international banks. Key requirements • Master’s in business/economics/management. • Experience in an industrial processing environment, food ideally. • Good knowledge in finance/accountancy • Experience in Africa • Factory management experience. • Excellent people management skills. • Proven experience as an effective leader and negotiator in multi-cultural settings. • Experience in dealing with demanding clients, officials, financiers, NGO’s as with small-holder farmers and local staff. • Perfect French in writing, speaking and listening. • Good level of English in writing, speaking and listening.
