Job Description : CFO AUSTRALIA This innovative organisation is one of the fastest-growing independent Retailers in Australia. The business has over 300 stores that are a mix of both company and franchise owned. Due to continued growth in revenue and profit - the business is now embarking on its next stage of evolution. A continued focus on outstanding customer service and delivery continues to drive decision making and future expansion opportunities. To support the next growth phase the business is looking to appoint an experienced Chief Financial Officer who will work closely with the Managing Director and the senior leadership team to drive sound commercial decision making and financial control across all aspects of the business. About the role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for financial planning and analysis that drives continuous improvement in commercial decision making. Leading the Finance function, you will overview all aspects of Finance and Accounting across the business. Key deliverables include - · Delivery of reporting and analysis, including briefing Directors on financial performance, key business drivers and highlighting any potential risks · Cash flow management, internal controls, & risk management · Management of the board reporting. Draw together all the necessary departmental and finance reporting for presentation at the monthly board meeting to the Directors · Management of the annual budget and monthly rolling forecast process · Lead the finance business partnering in the areas of sales and supply chain - focussing on revenue growth and speed to market and sustainability · Lead the price and excise strategy creation and business growth plan based on existing SLA, ensuring existing market opportunities will be addressed and supported with strong commercial recommendations · Provide insight and analytical support to key strategic and operational issues, have a commercial mindset with an understanding of issues around inventory management, rebates, and pricing · Timely preparation and management of all taxation and external audit requirements. This includes FBT returns, BAS statements, PAYG, income tax returns and DTA/DTL, external audit process and requirements with company accounting partners. Your success will be underpinned by the ability to build and manage a high performing finance function that is recognised across the organisation as adding genuine commercial value and improvement on an ongoing basis. About You CA/CPA qualified, you will demonstrate a sound commercial track record with the ability to support growth through the provision of commercial and analytical insights that improve the business decision making process. With strong experience obtained within the Retail sector you will enjoy leading and inspiring teams in finance that make a genuine difference to the overall business objectives. You will be seeking a dynamic fast moving CFO opportunity that will allow your attention to detail, strategic mindset, and first-class work ethic to shine through. A generous base salary, super and incentives (including parking) will be negotiated with the successful cis also part of the package. Relocation costs is also part of the package.
