Job Description : 9) CFO DUBAI This newly created strategic CFO role sits in a new, well-funded start-up department. We are searching for a well-rounded, experienced CFO with experience across audit, tax, commercial and operational finance. Reporting to the CEO, you will advise the Board of Directors on company strategy, direct the portfolio of projects to ensure realization of the company strategic goals, setting effective KPI’s & company targets. Salary is flexible for the best candidate. Responsibilities • Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance team. • Advise on hedging strategies to maximize company shareholder value and minimize and mitigate the associated risks for trading, interest rate and foreign Exchange. • Developing of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems. • Lead the financial Risk Management to provide the organization’s leadership with clear visibility on the various financial risk exposures • Measure business units’ performance and provide analysis to support operational decisions including reports on CAPEX, and control of expenditure on approved Capital projects • Assist CEO on all strategic and tactical activities related to planning and budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, and cash management. • Formulate the 5 year plan • Maintain banking relationships • Lead the Tax strategy • Provide financial planning and performance management services to the Business segments. • Managing the processes for financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. • Lead the process of external and internal reporting, and act as custodian of financial information. • Develop and maintain corporate governance, compliance. • Establishing and developing relations with external partners and stakeholders • Reviewing all formal finance related policies and procedures Requirements • ACA qualified or equivalent with 15-20 yrs PQE • Top calibre candidates only – Big 4 trained with 15-20 years in large multinational corporate / plc / listed environment • Working currently at CFO level in a regional role for a large MNC • Interpersonal skills should be excellent
