15 yearsJob Description : HOD MECHANICAL INDONESIA To plan, organize, coordinate, supervise, and control the Mechanical Maintenance activities at an O&M site. To manage the complete Power Plant Mechanical Maintenance function correctly and efficiently as per laid down procedures/ contract. These functions include close coordination with Head (Operation) / Head (Planning), Head (Electrical) and Head - Instrumentation. Preparation of maintenance schedules to upkeep of the boilers, turbines and the equipments and facilities available in the plant, Rectification planning for defects identified in Condition Monitoring, Contractors, external services, prepare/present MIS reports, within the guidelines of Feedback policies with the objective of ensuring smooth running of power plant and meeting Customer expectations. Responsibilities: Planninga) Annual Maintenance plan to be prepared. b) Budgeting: To support Power Plant Manager in preparation of annual cost planning w.r.t. to Mechanical Maintenance. c) Resources: To plan required External Services / Internal Services / Manpower Management / Sp. Tools & tackles d) Spares & Consumables: To Prepare for the Annual/half-yearly requirement of Spares and consumables. e) Understanding customer needs and aligning plant maintenance. f) Calibration & testing of Tools & tackle once a year. a) To do regular walk-by inspections. b) Having Daily / Monthly Department & Customer meetings. c) To resolve customer/employee issues to the extent possible before it gets escalated to a higher level. d) To prepare monthly Shift schedules for the entire Mech. Maintenance team e) To prepare SMPs for all equipment Maintenance Plans. f) Daily PM /RM / SM Planning g) Planning for defect removal and day-to-day troubleshooting. Safety-Rela) Implementation of prudent safe practices at work at height, high-pressure lines, confined area, etc. b) Compliance of OHSAS 18001 c) To ensure continuous improvement in Safety Score. d) Identification of Critical activities and preparation of JSAs e) Implementation of Good housekeeping practices and ensuring that all maintenance floors are maintained neat and clean. a) To do Competency assessment for the Mechanical Maintenance team including Contractors employees. b) Performance Appraisal and Development planning for the Mechanical maintenance team. c) To conduct in-house training programs by all department members at least once a month to enhance the skill level of members. d) To ensure identified training is imparted through External / Internal training programs. e) To do training effectiveness evaluation f) To identify, train & develop at least one or two successors. Review & Reports: a) To contribute/facilitate in the development of systems and processes to improve Safety, Technical and Financial performance. b) Participation in 3E Projects. c) Imbibing Feedback Way of Working and demonstrate Feedback Standards d) Daily / Monthly / Annual Key Performance factors e) Defect pending vs removal status f) Review of Daily log sheets and logbooks. g) Review of Maintenance practices. h) Annual Maintenance plan Vs Actual status I) To review SMPs / Checklist once a year. j) To implement an Action plan prepared for improving Customer Satisfaction (CROL) Rating and Employee Satisfaction (My Voice) Rating. Review / Analyse RM jobs to identify the reason for the necessity of RM Jobs. k) To prepare and ensure timely deliverance of Daily/weekly/Monthly Maintenance performance reports to the Plant Manager.
