Job Description : VP OPERATIONS INDIA Only candidates with 20+ years in manufacturing industry should apply Only candidates who are currently heading a plant should apply behemoth in the renewable business with 20+ years of experience and is currently managing a scope in GW installed across the globe. They have an impeccable track record of offering their products and services to clients spread across 90 countries Description Reporting to the Global director operations you would be responsible for: · Defining and ensuring implementation of corporate approved Manufacturing policies for assigned organization unit(s) · Deciding Manufacturing strategy, policies and guidelines, in accordance to the overall strategic targets, and head all manufacturing operations, for the organization unit assigned, which is in India · Ensuring long-term planning of production resources, derives the respective business and investment plans for all sites · Taking decision on Manufacturing related budgets and decides budget and resource allocation in the annual budgeting process as well as in the monthly forecasting · Overseeing and managing all mission critical Manufacturing programs and initiates and oversees continuous development of Manufacturing infrastructure · Cooperating with BU Executives and Senior Management, esp. in Sales, SCM / Logistics, R&D and Engineering as well as Real Estate and any other Corporate Function · Taking overall responsibility and accountability for ensuring implementing the QHSE, policies and objectives. · Heading overall organization assigned, and lead all related Management, Professionals and staff Ideally you have 20+ years of work experience and are currently heading a plant. You should be managing a team of 600+ people in your current role along with P&L responsibilities. You should have suffice experience in Manufacturing/Assembly/Machining operations. An Ideal candidate can come from Renewable/ Automotive/ Heavy engineering industry . You should possess good communication skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills. You should have an excellent track record in your earlier professional stint and should be ready for the next challenging assignment.
