Financial Controller 
10 yearsJob Description : FC ANGOLA Report functionally to CFO Industries & Administratively to CEO Must have minimum of 10-12years experience, managing finance/accounts function in a manufacturing environment with focus on financial control, product costing, material planning and manufacturing cost control etc. Strong ERP / hand-on in SAP; systems, process, and best practices experience. Job Description Plans, develops, organizes, implements directs and evaluates the Company’s fiscal functions from every relevant perspective. Manage finance & accounting, treasury and compliance functions with the necessary processes and internal controls to safeguard the corporate assets and information. Manage the preparation of financial and operational MIS; presentation to higher Management with detailed analysis and recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure the integrity of the company’s financial system/records and the effectiveness of its control systems. Ensure all accounts including vendor, customer, receivables, inter-co accounts and banks re duly reconciled on a monthly basis Submit monthly financials to Group Reporting Team along witTake lead role in preparing Annual Budget, Quarterly detailed forecast for current year, long term financial plans, considering micro/ macro factors affecting business with detailed assumptions; Coordinate with all key stakeholders in this regard. Advise the senior leadership on key financial metrics pertaining to cost, cash flow and profitability to provide clarity on the financial health of the company as well as guide them on growth & effective investment strategies, calculation of cost of funds etc. Monitoring of day-to-day financial operations of the Company; Review and approve payments, claims and all journal vouches and ensure compliance, correctness and management approvals. Ensure all accounts are backed up with proper documentation. Develops reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs of the Company. Monitor working capital levels & related commitments, liaise with sales team regularly on collection targets. Submit projected cash flow to Group Treasury as per their guidelines. Inventory Review & Control; monitor levels, ageing and sales patterns. Escalation for timely actions on slow/non-moving/near expiry and to liquidate old stocks. Oversees risk and corporate insurance requirements. Ensure all risks are adequately covered and that all concerned are aware of various covenants stipulated by insurance company and that these are complied with. Ensures tax books are properly and timely completed and company is in compliance with respect to all tax reporting requirements including VAT, income tax, , and employment taxes. Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforces SOPs, Delegation matrix, policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company. Review SOPs, ensure process changes are controlled and well authorized and communicated; Ensure SOPs are updated with all such approved changes. Build an effective finance function, ensure it is adequately staffed with well defined roles and responsibilities. Ensure each staff is aware of his/her KPIs/deliverables which are documented and monitored on a regular basis. Ensure access rights to SAP/ERP especially with respect to accounting information is restricted strictly based on requirements and management guidelines.
