Job Description : FINANCE HEAD ANGOLA 10 years experience African experience mandatory 1) Provide general supervision and management of the day-to-day financial and accounting affairs of the company, consistent with decisions requiring prior approval of the CEO and the Directors. These include, but are not limited to: a. Account maintenance (ensuring accuracy of expenses and posting) b. Reconciliation c. Cash Flow management d. Account Receivable Analysis (Credit management of customers) e. Budget design, planning & maintenance per cost center f. Costing of products and analysis of profitability g. Cost analysis and negotiation during procurement process h. Inventory maintenance and analysis i. Pricing strategy and analysis j. Period end closing; i.e. month end, quarter end and year end k. Financial Statements preparation and reporting -month end, quarter end and year end 2) Timely remittance of all critical Supplier payments, statutory payments and Tax returns -that will include: - VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax amongst other remittances. 3) Ensure all Financial reporting ride on the ERP Platform to mitigate any Fraud. 4) Ensure the development of an annual operating plan and assist the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in the implementation of the annual operating plan. 5) Preparation of accurate monthly financial reports to include: -, company P and L Reports, Management Accounts, Monthly Expense Reports (MER's), Working Capital and overall Cash Flow Management. 6) Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts and fast track compliance -while advising the Top management on any deviations. 7) Plan, direct and monitor the activities and resources of the company - consistent with the strategic direction, financial limits and operating objectives approved by the Board. 8) Represent the finance department and establish strong and effective relationships internally and externally, including with Banks, tax institutions and other government/private entities. 9) Establishment of a seamless Credit Control Policy and ensure its full implementation 10) Ensure the company maintains an appropriate capital structure to support its annual operating and strategic plan. 11) Achieve balanced budgetary controls to ensure all costs and expenses are within the budgeted levels. 12)Timely follow up on any re-imbursements from 3rd parties on behalf of the company -to include VAT, among others. 13)Co-ordination of all External Audit programs with the appointed CSC External Auditors while ensuring timely report to the Board of Directors through the CEO. 14)Deliver a robust and efficient finance function 15)Develop effective and efficient financial management and control. 16)Develop, motivate and lead the finance and accounting team. 17)Ensure compliance to all internal and external regulations. Required Candidate profile 1. The Finance manager will play a key role in the overall business operations and financial management of the CSC. 2. The Finance Manager has primary responsibility for planning and controlling all financial-related activities including: general accounting, financial forecasting and analysis, budgeting, tax compliance, statutory compliances and all financial reporting activities. 3. The Finance Manager will also be tasked with the development, implementation and management of an effective financial management tool. Cash flow and working capital management will be a key responsibility. 4. As part of the senior management team of the company, the Finance Manager is also expected to maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with the senior management team. 5. The Finance manager shall be responsible for the establishment, maintenance and management of all financial procedures to achieve the policies and objectives established by the Board of Directors.
