Job Description : Buyer with Leading Oil and Gas company based at Lagos Nigeria Experience : Minimum 8 Years# Experience Profile : · Evaluation and development of vendors · Analysis of Purchase or Service Request & Acknowledgement. · Selection of Vendors · Preparation of RFQ / Tender documents · Floating of enquiry documents · Follow up and obtaining offers in time · Coordinate and provide clarifications to vendors at pre offer stage. · Bid tabulation · Arranging technical discussions · Preparation of Comparative Statement of Quotations · Commercial bid analysis · Arranging commercial discussions · Negotiation · Preparation of Approval Note · PO preparation and subsequent amendments · Coordination related to progressive payments & documentation flow · Coordination with C & F for Materials pick up & delivery. · Coordination with Stores for MRR/GRIN. · Coordination with Accounts for final payments and after sales service · Coordination for post order issues, if any. · MIS update Budget preparation · Freight and logistic coordination · Identification of common spares across various packages · Budgeting · Terms and Conditions of Contract · Project Procurement - Import/Local/E Commerce · Vendor Assessment and Development · Stores procedures · Materials / material management for Oil & Gas Industries. Engineering Degree (BE, B. Tech)
