Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR UAE Your skills in sound financial planning coupled with your ability to direct financial assets will assist our organization in implementing effective financial strategies, managing debt, improving revenue, maintaining a healthy financial position, and enhancing investor confidence. To direct the activities of the finance department and participate in the strategic and operational management of the business while ensuring that the financial structure, objectives and controls are aligned with the strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities · Assisting the CEO on strategic matters such as; developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships and negotiating contracts · Leading the accounting and finance function · Supporting senior stakeholders on all business reviews · Overlooking all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions; analyzing and advising on the introduction of new strategies and their impact on long-range developments · Managing the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning process · Generating reports & analyses to assist in decision making · Actively involved in generating new business, particularly: analyzing for new funding opportunities, crafting prospective programmatic budgets, and identifying cost-effectiveness of potential service delivery · Managing all fiscal reporting activities for the organization: revenue/expenses, balance sheets, reports to funding companies, as well as monitoring the organization as a whole. · Ensuring compliance with financial processes, systems, and policies · Assess investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks. · Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations. · Prepare and present financial and management reports on a monthly and annual basis. · Drive the annual budgeting and planning process. · Set financial policies and procedures. · Manage tax reporting. · Manage relationships with financial institutions. · Oversee and support the external auditors. · Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation. · Oversee and manage across different geographies/territories Skills Required: · MBA or bachelor's degree in Finance along with professional accounting qualifications: CA, CMA, or CPA · You have prior experience in a similar role. · You are a strong leader and possess excellent analytical skills and creative skills, as well as having great decision-making skills (promptly and accurately) · You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. · Ability to deliver results, while having a sense of integrity and dependability · Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. · Ability to strategize and solve problems. · Strong leadership and organizational skills. · Excellent communication and people skills. · An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
