Job Description : HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR CAMEROON Expatriation Position: Based 100% in Yaoundé, Cameroon – Central Africa. Position: Based in Yaoundé, Cameroon – Central Africa one of the most diversified business conglomerates in Africa with companies spread across West and Central African countries. We are looking for Human Resources Director. If you are a self-directing, highly organized, strategically thinking, possess a high work ethic, excellent communication skills, knowledge of labor regulations and HR practices, passionate about the job, performance oriented and detailed oriented individual with a get-it-done attitude, this job is for you. You will directly report to Director of strategy. You will provide support to the Managing Director and the Director of strategy to ensure that the company and its entities achieve its business objectives, and will be responsible for improving HR processes, implementing strategies that support business growth, improving morale and employee retention, enhancing safety and wellness, strengthening relations between employees, managing job satisfaction, attracting the best talent, and promoting the organization’s values. In this role, you will serve as HR referent, to advise the MD and the Director of strategy in order to contribute to the improvement of the whole decision-making process to make the organization more efficient. Your goal is to enable the MD and his leadership team to operate at a higher level of performance. 1. Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc. 2. Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development 1. Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics 1. Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance 1. Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards 1. Develop and drive talent management strategies to ensure effective staffing alignment with the needs of the business 1. Create systems to attract talent, identify critical talent needs, develop core competencies and corresponding development opportunities, and engage leadership in succession planning. 1. Ensure that employee files and records are properly and securely maintained 1. Ensure all relevant policies and procedures are put in place and signed by all relevant employees. 2. Ensure that all the relevant policies and procedures are implemented and respected by all. 3. Design and implement a competitive compensation system and benefit package to attract and retain employees 4. Design and implement a strategy to optimize and integrate HR technology, enabling managers and employees to easily perform people-related transactions (e.g. benefits enrollment), facilitates delivery of effective HR services, securely stores employee data, and supports people-related decisions 5.
