Supply Chain Head

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD UAE a leading local retail company in Abu Dhabi is currently searching for a hands-on Head of Supply Chain Operations to direct and oversee the company's overall supply chain operations, including commercial procurement, supplier performance management, merchandise and marketing, and stores management. The role - Develop and manage strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of supply chain, implementation of best practices logistics and operations - Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develop budgets / policies / procedures to support and improve operational efficiency and performance - Lead overall supply chain operations and key projects to enhance business results - Manage and oversee supply chain process and information to optimize stock replenishment, stock storage and distribution, inventory control - Drive positive financial outcomes by collaborating with the finance team on the creation of annual budget and shorter-term forecasts/variances Client requirements - Minimum of 15 years of experience in FMCG supply-chain - Knowledge of materials, distribution of goods and retail processes - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Strategic orientation and strong understanding of financial reporting and operational management - Critical thinker, problem solving and attention to detail skills
