Finance Director

Job Description : FINANCE DIRECTOR MALAYSIA As the head of department, you will have full accountability of managing and controlling the finance of the company. Full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax matters which includes improving financial policies, procedures, planning and allocation of financial resource, financial reporting, internal controls, and to ensure processes are carried out efficiently, effectively and in line with best practice Take on strong business partnering with the CEO for the key markets under his purview, to oversee, provide leadership, professional expertise and perform a wide range of core financial duties, planning and budgetary control Manage the company’s profitability and improve cash management via accurate management control, costing information and monitoring of productivity plans Plan, control and analyse the financial performance of the company and develop strategies to improve industrial productivity Implement corporate governance, risk management and internal controls Work closely with the Head of Manufacturing and Plant Heads to design and provide useful and actionable plant level analytics to improve operating efficiencies and cost control To succeed in the Finance Director role, you must have finance operation experience within a complex and fast moving manufacturing environment. Degree and professional qualification in Accountancy or related field, with strong technical foundation Minimum of 15 years' working experience, preferably with combination of some external audit exposure and commercial experience Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, with exposure to broad business issues and demonstrate analytical capability Adopt a hands-on approach and able to meet tight deadline
