Deputy Regional Director

Job Description : DEPUTY REGIONAL DIRECTOR AFRICA The Deputy Regional Director Africa will support field operations across Southern, Eastern and Western Africa. This position is pivotal to sustain growth in the region and influence the future direction of the organisation. Main Responsibilities of the Deputy Regional Director Africa: Work-plan alignment with the Global Strategic Plan Performance monitoring and reporting in line with the Global monitoring framework Capacity development, HR planning and broader team support Budget oversight and budget preparation Strategic Investment Stakeholder Engagement, Outreach and Fund-raising Support the Regional Director and wider Africa team in professionally and adequately addressing issues raised by potential and existing certification bodies, accredited consultants, members and other stakeholders Support a targeted and successful fund-raising effort and help the team to identify, formulate and develop projects that address the regional priorities for both internal and external donor funding 10+ years experience in senior management A degree in Business Management with solid experience in the Environment and Natural resources sectors would be a plus Demonstrated experience in performance management, proposal development and fund-raising Fluency in French is a plus Passionate about driving change
