10 yearsJob Description : MENA SALES DIRECTOR Candidates must have MENA region senior level sales leadership in the food distribution industry with extensive experience of increasing revenue in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Levant region. well-established global premium dry food brand distributor. As part of their growth in the Middle East region, we are recruiting an experienced “C- level” MENA region sales director to join their Dubai team. The regional sales director will be responsible for spearheading the Middle East sales teams; building a strong distribution network in the Middle East to optimize revenue and profit growth to enable sustainable partnership expansion. The successful candidate will have a proven strategic and tactical sales career in profitable FMCG or food services products distribution across supermarkets, wholesalers and ethnic retailers. Role Summary · Define and execute annual go-to-market strategies and roadmaps; optimal product positioning; and pricing strategies for growing the Middle East dry food distribution network and own the regions P&L for product distribution. · Manage distribution, sales and P&L accountability by working closely with distribution partners and their salesforce to grow the brand and market share. · Lead planning and review meetings and promotional activities to optimize sales productivity. · Build a high-performance sales organization to increase rice export revenue within the Middle East retailers and distributors market. · Establish compensation, sales incentive and training programs that enable sales managers to achieve their targets. Mandatory Skills & Experience · 10 - 15 years’ experience in a senior sales role such as VP of sales / head of sales / sales director position in the GCC having worked with international FMCG or food brands with a proven track record of success in FMCG distribution and route-to-market strategies. · Must have extensive experience of increasing revenue in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Levant region. · Demonstrable sales team leadership – recruitment, development and performance management of a highly accountability-driven team. · Distributor network growth and management preferably in the dry pulses, spices, grains, Agri-commodities sector. · Strong consultative channel selling capabilities with excellent interpersonal and negation skills at executive level. · Previous experience in dry food distribution / export in dry bulk shipments is an advantage. · UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory. Candidate Profile · Currently living in the United Arab Emirates. · Must be able to travel India without any visa restrictions. · Fluency in English. · Gravitas to hold a C-level position which could lead to a Board appointment.
